Also, the fact that the author keeps using dark element this, dark element that is really tripping me up. Not sure if I should do plural or singular and it’s really tripping me up sometimes. I feel like the words are just super awkward with respect to the rest of the text (in English). Any suggestions from maybe how you might see it in other fantasy/magic novels?
